Once a week City of Dallas Sanitation Services collects residential garbage and recycling. In Northaven Park the collection day for homes south of Northaven Road is Monday; the day for those north of Northaven Road is Tuesday.
Garbage Roll Carts (Gray)
Do not place hot ashes, yard debris, concrete or rocks, clothing, large pieces of metal, dirt, construction debris or household hazardous waste (e.g., batteries, oil, cleaning products, paint, and antifreeze) in the cart. Additional garbage carts are available for an additional monthly fee and can be requested by contacting 3-1-1 online or by phone.
Recycle Roll Carts (Blue) & Recycling
All recyclable material should be placed in the recycle cart without being bagged. Items that can be placed in the carts are paper, plastic (not plastic bags), cardboard, metal and glass.
Household Hazardous Waste
Hazardous waste such as batteries, oil and oil filters, paint, and antifreeze cannot be put in the trash or recycle bins. Take them to the Dallas County Home Chemical Collection Center at 11234 Plano Road, 75243 or to a monthly BOPA event.
